There are a couple of reasons for having my own domain name and for choosing Powmillion.
First of all I wanted to have a domain of my own. No real reason for this, I just wanted it.
Secondly, what would you choose? Yes, I could have douglasbarclay.anything (at the time of writing), but I wanted something more original.
I live next to a small burn (stream or river for non-Scots) called the Powmillion Burn, so this seemed a fairly obvious choice for me.
(Sometimes spelt as Powmillon, but so far as I can tell, the Powmillion variant is the preferred one.)
