Inca Royal Highway - 1995
This, my first Exodus trip, took me to many parts of Peru before finally arriving in Cusco to walk the Inca Trail to Macchu Piccu.
The journey began in Lima travelling south through Pisac and Nazca to Puerto Inca then inland to Arequipa, across the Altiplano, visiting Colca Canyon on the way to Puno on the shores of Lake Titicaca. After visiting the floating islands of the Uros and Taquillie Island on Lake Titicaca we continued to Cuzco where we walked the Inca Trail to Macchu Piccu as a fitting finale to the trip.
